About Me
Originally from Tokyo, I am a Service Designer / Design Researcher with 10+ years of experience in user-centred design and advertising. I help design inclusive services and products using my experience living with visual impairment.
I started my career as a strategist in advertising: helping international brands identify problems and develop creative solutions to achieve their business objectives. Most of that time was spent at Wieden + Kennedy, working with people from diverse cultural backgrounds in the world’s leading creative agency.
I came to the UK to complete a Master’s Degree in Service Design at the University of the Arts London to add a new way of thinking to my existing experience. Since graduating, I have worked for a local government and a Gen AI start-up to help design inclusive digital services and products.
Currently, I am working as a Lead Service Designer at the NHS, where I help improve public health services to deliver better health outcomes for citizens.
